Where the best place to fish there? Even if i have to drive to port st joe. Also would those fresh water lakes inland have big bass in them? I’m coming from Indiana

Thought I'd share today's experiece at that pond. i started Fising in the pond near the center of the wall, where there is a memorial cross and candles for Dominique. as I worked around the pond I was catching bass on a junebug senko. With each fish, it would get balled up in a tangle of hydrilla, requiring sliding the fish and grass ball over the top of the weeds near the shoreline. There were three alligators who quickly noticed and they followed me around the lake trying to get a bite of fish. I noticed they stayed on the outer edge of the shoreline grass until I caught a fish, then they rushed the bank chasing after the hooked fish. I was all the way around the pond and back at Dominique's memorial when the largest gator (5-6 ft) rushed towards me, crawled on the bank and chased towards me 5-10 feet with mouth open. I guess he was fed up with my tossing the bass back without giving him one. I took the hint and departed hastily. :)

is there anywhere you can fish off the jetty without having to climb down rocks

Happens to me today I have no clue what it was I was surf fishing Daytona beach got it like 10 feet from shore and bam something took it and ran it broke me off but fish was massive wish I knew what it was

If you ever get another pelican, a good way to keep them calm is to wrap a shirt or towel or something like that around their head, just so they cant really see everything, for some reason the chill out it a lot, but he was actually really calm, probably knew you guys were cool
